Para perguntar:
What + to be + subject + gerund verb + adverb of time
Exemplos:
What are you doing tomorrow morning?
What is she doing next Friday?
What is he doing this weekend?
What are your parents doing on Christmas?
What is Jack doing on his birthday?
“I’m having dinner with my family.”
Para perguntar:
Subject + to be + gerund verb (+ adverb of time)
Exemplos:
I am working this Saturday.
My parents are coming to visit next Holiday.
He is traveling to Europe in December.
Kate isn’t doing anything tonight.
We aren’t going to the party on Sunday.

Essa estrutura que acabamos de estudar (to be + gerund verb) é chamada de Present Continuous. Como o nome já diz, o Present Continuous é também usado para falar do presente, mas vamos tratar desse assunto em outra oportunidade.
Uma dica é se ligar no contexto e nas expressões que indicam tempo:
tomorrow, this weekend, next week, on Sunday, in January, on my birthday, in five years são exemplos de expressões que indicam futuro.
right now, at this moment, as we speak e nowadays são exemplos de expressões que indicam presente.
