O que gostamos e não gostamos. O que temos e não temos.

I really love watching sports on TV.

Present simple – Interrogative I

Perguntas que começam com o auxiliar “do” são chamadas de yes/no questions porque a resposta pode ser apenas sim ou não.

do + subject + verb + complement?

Do they celebrate Christmas…?

Do you play any sport…?

Para responder:

Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.

Yes, they do. / No, they don’t.

Yes, we do. / No, we don’t.

Present simple – Interrogative II

wh- phrases são palavras ou expressões que demandam informações, por exemplo: what, which, where, when, who, how, what time, what kind of […], how much, how long. Perguntas que começam com wh- phrases são wh-questions, e não há uma resposta padrão para elas, a resposta é “aberta”.

wh- phrase + do + subject + verb + complement + ?

Os exemplos que analisamos hoje utilizaram os pronomes I, you, we e they, mas não utilizaram he, she ou it.

Isso porque quando conjugamos os verbos no Present Simple com os pronomes he, she ou it, existem algumas outras regras para seguir.
